At KITRO, our mission is to harness the power of technology to restore the true value of food and support the hospitality industry in promoting the sustainable use of food. We are KITRONs—a diverse international team of hospitality experts, innovators, coders, and sales professionals. Initially, our goal was to reduce daily food waste by recording, analyzing, and making it actionable. Today, we have deployed our solution globally, combining hardware, cloud software, and artificial intelligence to help reduce food waste for a broad range of clients—from hotels and restaurants to medical centers and cruise ships.

With a growing customer base, we are now looking to complement our team with a driven, positive, and open-minded individual to join our Customer Success team. As a Food Waste Consultant / Customer Success Representative, you’ll play a key role in managing customer relationships, ensuring successful implementation, and supporting clients in their food waste reduction journey.

Your Job & Responsibilities

As a Food Waste Consultant / Customer Success Representative, you’ll be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients. Your role will include guiding customers through every step of the journey, from installation and onboarding to analyzing results and setting goals. You’ll ensure that they have everything they need to successfully reduce food waste, all while maintaining a positive and engaging relationship with each client.

This position is perfect for someone who is action-oriented, results-driven, and eager to make a tangible impact on food waste reduction in the hospitality sector. If you’re looking for a role that allows you to work independently while contributing to a dynamic and passionate team, this is the perfect opportunity.

  • Build and manage your own portfolio of clients, helping them reach their food waste reduction goals.
  • Guide customers through their journey: from installation and onboarding to analyzing results and helping them achieve their sustainability targets.
  • Ensure the quality of data provided by customers and help conduct customer review and goal-setting meetings.
  • Collect customer feedback to ensure optimal product usage and contribute to the continuous improvement of our product and service offerings.

Support with hardware installations and kick-off meetings to ensure smooth and efficient onboarding.Understand the product inside out and assist customers with any basic technical questions related to our solution.

Skills and Requirements

  • Spanish and advanced or proficient English skills. (Swiss-)German or French are a big plus. 
  • A strong interest in food waste mitigation practices and sustainability in the food industry.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently, stay organized, and efficiently manage your portfolio of customers.
  • A positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt and learn continuously.
  • Proven ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience in customer success, account management, or consulting (preferably in the food, hospitality, or tech industries) is a plus.
